Screening of Chemical Reaction Tonight

Revelstroke, British Columbia, will be the epicenter of the ongoing Canadian debate about pesticides used to kill weeds and insects when the award-winning film A Chemical Reaction airs free for the public tonight at 7.

You can find all the details here: http://thestoke.ca/?p=2790.

Revelstroke is just the latest municipality to take up the issue in British Columbia, which to date does not have a provincial pesticide ban like the ones found in Quebec, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Most feel, however, that it’s only a matter of time: http://www.revelstokecurrent.com/2010/08/11/want-to-protect-kids-from-chemicals-ban-cosmetic-pesticides/.
