A Chemical Reaction Movie

KIRKLAND, WA. — Displaying an impressive array of printed materials, enthusiastic professionals and dedicated non-profit organizations, the organic landscaping community of Greater Seattle stood tall Saturday during the latest leg of the 2010 North American Spring Tour of the award-winning documentary film A Chemical Reaction.

The afternoon crowd of approximately 100 gave SafeLawns founder Paul Tukey a rousing, standing-ovation send-off to Boston where he’ll appear Monday night at Northeastern University.

“This event was a huge step forward for our corner of the industry,” said Howard Harrison, owner of Chinook Compost Tea.

The event was sponsored by the Coalition of Organic Landscapers and Seattle Tilth, and was supported by the Washington Toxics Coalition and several other community environmental and food groups.
