“Riveting”

“Enthralling”

“The most important movie ever made about community activism!”

These were just some of the comments Monday night after the official U.S. Premiere of A Chemical Reaction at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival. More than 160 people attended.

“People were glued to their seats, for both the movie and the question-and-answer period afterward,” said the director of the prestigious festival, Greg Von Hausch. “The power of this movie catches you by surprise.”

Next up: We’ll screen the movie Thursday night in Orono, Maine, at the University of Maine’s Corbett Hall, Room 101 at 7 p.m. Then we’re off to Burlington, Vt., on Nov. 18 for two screenings at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
