General

The name of the organization in charge of regulating pesticides in this nation is the EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency. If you ask most people, they’ll tell you the EPA really does protect us. As I’ve learned in recent years, the EPA is often more concerned about protecting the interests of big business. Today I came across an insiders’ account of the history of the EPA since its inception in 1970. It’s about a 10-minute read. When you have the time, have a seat and digest what it means.
