Canadian Government Official Calls for National Ban on Pesticides

With almost 80 percent of Canadians living under the auspices of some sort of ban on weed killers for lawns, one high-ranking government official has taken steps to make the ban officially nationwide. Fin Donnelly put a motion on the order paper calling for a nationwide ban on pesticides to take effect next Earth Day, April 22.
