Save the Date: Hartford, March 7
Though we previously reported here that the Hartford, Connecticut, premiere of A Chemical Reaction would be on Feb. 20, the organizers officially changed the date to March 7 at the CineStudio Theater at Trinity College in Hartford.
Co-sponsored by the Connecticut chapter of the Northeast Organic Farmers Association, the screening will be held at 2 p.m., with a pre-screening reception at 1 p.m. Suggested donations for tickets will be $10.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to network with the leaders of the organic movement in Connecticut, among the most progressive states with regard to anti-pesticide legislation in the nation. Among the expected VIPs are Bill Duesing, the Executive Director of NOFA, Nancy Alderman, the president of Environment and Human Health Inc., Nancy DuBrule-Clemente, the owner of Natureworks, and our friend, Scott Reil, the Helpful Gardener himself.
Bill reminded me, FYI, the the annual conference for Connecticut NOFA will be held March 6 at Manchester Community College. Here are the details: www.ctnofa.org/events/CAOC/2010/2010%20winter%20conference.html
