Community Action Works: SafeLawns Helps Block Soil Drenching of Bee Killer
You may recall that SafeLawns took at leading role in Worcester, Mass., several weeks ago when government officials in that area were proposing to drench soil with the bee-killing pesticide known as imidacloprid.
Those of us involved celebrated a victory today when this article appeared in the Worcester newspaper — stating that soil drenching is no longer an option: http://www.telegram.com/article/20091121/NEWS/911210342/1116&Template=printart.
Chalk up a victory for community action!
