As we work toward final funding of our movie, A Chemical Reaction, we received the pledge of a matching grant this past weekend from an attendee who watched the Maine premiere.
To help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 by Nov. 1, the donor said she will match all individual donations until we reach a total of $10,000 from other sources. Today alone we received pledges of $800.
The $20,000 will be used as “finishing” funds so that we can begin to distribute the film and sell DVDs. Until we pay for things like historic footage and other licensing fees, we cannot legally sell the DVDs to the public.
If you are interested in helping us get this movie and important message to a larger audience, please visit: http://www.safelawns.org/chemical_reaction.cfm to make an on-line donation of $10 to $50. For donations of larger than $50, checks may be mailed to the SafeLawns Foundation, P.O. Box 6131, Falmouth, Maine 04105. All donations may be tax deductible.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
