Best Weeding Tool?

John Richardson from Ft. Myers, Fla., emailed me today to ask about a manual tool he heard me talk about recently on the radio.

I’m sure it was the Weed Hound, which grips and plucks weeds down to the root and saves bending over. The tool is available at all sorts of places on-line. Here are a few on a Google search:

You’ve been basically reviewing the tools of my lawn here on the blog, starting with the Brill mower and now the Weed Hound. It’s a great tool…sometimes you have to really whack on the top of it to release a weed you just captured, but besides that it’s been a great find. Glad to endorse!
